“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV
Greetings Saints,
Trust is one of the first lessons we learn in walking with God, and one of the hardest to live out. The Lord asks us to depend fully on Him, even when His plan isn’t clear. For many, it’s not that we don’t believe He’s able; it’s that we struggle to let go of what we think is best. But the Word teaches that our understanding has limits. God’s wisdom has none.
When the Lord directs a path, He doesn’t always show the end at the beginning. He guides step by step, shaping our faith along the way. That’s why trusting God requires patience. It means staying steady when nothing around us makes sense, holding to His Word when every other voice says something different. In time, trust grows into peace—not because we see the outcome, but because we know who is leading us.
The believer who learns to trust the Lord learns to rest in His sovereignty. Nothing escapes His sight, and nothing happens outside His will. Even when life takes a turn we didn’t expect, His hand remains sure. The same God who promised to direct our path will also keep us in it, as long as we stay yielded to His will.
Read and Pray: Psalm 37:5 – “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.” KJV
Grace be Unto You,
