HISTORY

Abundant Grace Church has always been built on one solid truth — the Word of God never changes. We are a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church that stands on the authority of Scripture and the power of the Holy Ghost.

Our mission is to live out God’s Word in a relevant way, applying His unchanging truth to the challenges of everyday life. Every message, every ministry, and every act of service points back to one purpose: to lift up the name of Jesus Christ, the center of all we do.

VISION

Our vision is to provide everyone regardless of race, creed, or social standing, with the opportunity to receive the redemptive grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

MISSION

Our mission is to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

We Believe

The Bible

The Holy Bible is the word of the living God. It is true immutable, steadfast, and unchangeable. II Timothy 3:16-17

God

We believe that there is one God. God, the Father in Creation is equally and totally the Son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in regeneration. I Timothy 3:16; St. John 1:14, 14:8-9

Salvation

Salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. The New Testament experience of salvation consists of repentance from sin, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, after which the Christian

is to live a godly life. Acts 2:36-41

Tongues

Speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance is the manifestation God has given as the definite, indisputable, supernatural witness or sign of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6

It was prophesied by the prophet Isaiah as the rest and the refreshing (Isaiah 28:11-12), foretold by Jesus as a sign that would follow believers of the gospel (Mark 16:17), and experienced by Jews and Gentiles alike.

Divine Healing

Divine healing is the power of the Lord Jesus Christ to heal the sick and the afflicted in answer to believing in prayer. James 5:14-16

Second Coming

The second coming of Christ is personal and imminent; that He will descend from Heaven in clouds of glory. I Thessalonians 4:16-17

Resurrection

There will be a resurrection of all the dead, both just and unjust. “Marvel not this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” John 5:28-29

Judgment

“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). For this reason there will be a resurrection for everyone. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” II Corinthians 5:10
